When creating a Workflow in Visual Studio, make sure your created tasks inherit from the content type “Workflow tasks”. If not you might encounter the following error:
Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.
System.NotSupportedException: Specified method is not supported.
at Microsoft.SharePoint.Workflow.SPWorkflowTask.SetWorkflowData
I always forget this.
